Basic principals in Chinese Herbal Medicine

Dao, yin and yang, five elements, six climatic qi, taste, and six divisions.

Sixteen herbal formulas are described in terms of taste and temperature, yin yang, five elements, six climatic qi, and its associated key symptoms.

Eighteen different herbs are used in sixteen formulas and are fully explained in terms of the most common use.

The herbs are then illustrated in forty eight formulas. Each of these formulas is described in terms of how it treats disease.

Twenty six herbs with the most common combinations are described. Most herbs have six to eight combinations.
